To feel sorry about an event and wish it had not happened; regret.
// “She rues the day that she lost the love of her life.”
To embrace the struggles and loss inherent in the human experience,
and become stronger because of it; self-care & self-awareness .
// “She feels a sense of rue-rue in the wake of her loss.”
Rue Rue Life is a movement to help people feel in tune and in balance with themselves so that we are primed and ready to be open and supportive toward others. It starts with self-care and awareness and ideally will open the doors for more peaceful dialog and transparency. By breaking the barriers within ourselves, imagine how much easier it will be to break them down between our fellow community members, especially those with whom we disagree.
Rue Rue Life is a gathering of vendors whose brands and cumulative knowledge contribute to a community of beauty, self-care, self-awareness and resources for feeling at peace and gifting it, too. Like the art of kintsugi, let us help one another mend our broken parts and become stronger from our presumed weaknesses.
Rue Rue is for all of us who have not just lost, but who have struggled to foster emotional, mental, and physical stability…
May you Rue Rue today and every day, and may you always rue rue you!
